Hyderabad, December 7, 2023: Newly-elected Chief Minister of Telangana, A. Revanth Reddy, signed two files immediately after taking oath on Thursday, symbolizing his commitment to fulfilling key promises made by the Congress party during the recent elections, said sources.
The first file signed by Reddy aimed at implementing the “Six Guarantees” – a series of social welfare and development initiatives promised by the Congress in its election manifesto. These guarantees include:

- Mahalakshmi: Monthly allowance of ₹2,500 to women, subsidized LPG cylinders at ₹500, and free travel in RTC buses.

- Rythu Bharosa: ₹15,000 annual financial assistance to farmers and tenant farmers per acre, ₹12,000 annual aid to agricultural laborers, and a bonus of ₹500 per year for paddy cultivation.

- Cheyutha: ₹4,000 monthly pension for senior citizens and ₹10 lakh coverage under the Rajiv Arogyasri insurance scheme.
The second file signed by the Chief Minister pertained to providing immediate employment to a disabled woman, showcasing his dedication to inclusivity and social justice.
